Little Aston is dominated by large detached property, much of it on generous plots around Little Aston Park and the roads running towards Streetly and Four Oaks. Houses of that size have wide apertures, long runs of glazing and rear elevations that were built to open onto the garden, and the frames are a visible part of the architecture rather than a detail nobody notices.
That changes what a good installation looks like. Sightlines matter. So does how a trim is scribed, how a cill returns and whether the frame sits square in a wide opening after it has been loaded.
