Who we are

Draycote Windows is a window, door, roofing and extension installer based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, trading since January 2015. For anything relating to your personal data, contact us on 07597 125590 or info@draycotewindows.co.uk.

What information we collect

We only collect what we need in order to quote and carry out work:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• Your address or area, so we can survey and price the job.
• Details of the work you have asked us about.
• Correspondence between us: calls, emails, messages and any notes taken at survey.

We do not take card payments, so we never hold card details. We do not ask for or store any special category data.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a survey.
• To prepare and send your quote.
• To order materials and schedule the installation if you go ahead.
• To administer your 10-year insurance-backed guarantee and any aftercare.
• To meet our legal, insurance and competent persons scheme obligations.

We rely on your consent when you send an enquiry, on the performance of a contract once you place an order, and on our legitimate interests in running the business and keeping records of work carried out.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to marketing companies. We share only what is necessary with the parties involved in delivering your job, for example our guarantee provider, the competent persons scheme we register installations with, our suppliers and manufacturers, our insurers, and our accountants. Each of them receives the minimum needed to do their part.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back to us, then deleted. Records relating to completed installations are kept for the life of the 10-year guarantee and for as long as tax and insurance rules require.

This website

Our estimate form sends the details you type straight to us. The contact page embeds a Google Maps frame, and Google may set cookies or collect data through that embed under its own privacy policy. Links to our Facebook and Instagram pages take you to those platforms, which handle your data under their own terms.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to how we are using it, or withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Get in touch and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one. If anything here is unclear, ring us on 07597 125590 and we will explain it in plain English.
